Recently a nulled version of the Stallion WordPress SEO Theme was released on blackhatteam.com the BlackHat SEO Forum by the user Taur. I was impressed with how Taur nulled Stallion, thought it would be harder to null.
Taur’s nulled free download version (based on Stallion version 6.2) that he had uploaded to file sharing sites such as Badongo, Depositfiles, Filefactory, Fileserve, Filesonic, Freakshare, Hotfile, Mediafire, Megaupload, Multiupload, Rapidshare, Uploaded, Uploadstation, Wupload, Ziddu (not found it on Torrents yet) had removed the need for full activation, basically rather than adding an active Stallion ID (which costs $70) you could enter anything you like.
The Stallion WordPress SEO theme includes a LOT of copyright material and using nulled Stallion is infringing my copyright hundreds of times which I must act on. If a copyright owner doesn’t pursue copyright infringement’s it weakens their copyright. We’ve all seen dumb ass moves by the likes of Microsoft and other big companies to protect their copyright, they have no choice, they have to act on all copyright infringement’s they are aware of (they can’t pick and choose good/bad infringement, copyright law doesn’t work that way).
I’ll be hardening the Stallion activation system in a future release without impacting on the user experience.
There’s no way I can stop the propagation of the nulled version of Stallion (Pandora’s Box is Open), thousands of people already have a copy of the zip file and they will periodically upload it to filesharing services like Badongo, Depositfiles, Filefactory, Fileserve, Filesonic, Freakshare, Hotfile, Mediafire, Megaupload, Multiupload, Rapidshare, Uploaded, Uploadstation, Wupload, Ziddu etc… My task is putting off people like you (you probably found your way here looking for the Stallion theme for free) from using the nulled version.
For those using nulled Stallion please be aware I am aware of ALL domains running nulled Stallion, I have several methods for passively tracking Stallion users. It’s nothing untoward (I have no access to your sites or anything like that, I know all domains running Stallion and if they purchased an ID or not). I haven’t used this list before, this is the first time I’ve had to even look at the list of domains running Stallion and wouldn’t use it for anything untoward (not that there’s anything bad I could use it for, it’s just a list of URLs).
Anyway, like I touched on above as the copyright owner I must act to protect my copyrighted material. I will therefore be issuing DMCA Notices to the hosts of domains running the nulled version of Stallion. In my experience (personal experience see: Godaddy Copyright Infringement Policy) your host is likely to take down your hosting account or entire server (as you can read above I had 69 domains taken offline because of one article!). If your host doesn’t respect DMCA notices (some offshore hosts don’t) the next step would be sending DMCA notices to Google Search and Google AdSense (if you run AdSense) which since using Stallion nulled is a sitewide (or at least WordPress wide) copyright infringement could result in your entire site being removed from Google search and your AdSense account banned (assuming you use AdSense).
I could pursue copyright infringement through the courts and each infringement could be liable for large fines and compensation, although I reserve my right to later court action I currently have no plans to seek legal remedies: I want nulled Stallion installations removed or paid for, that’s it.
I don’t want to waste my time protecting my copyright, please if you are currently running a nulled version of Stallion I recommend you either remove it from your server immediately or purchase Stallion and install the legal version and drop me an email with the domain(s) you had nulled Stallion running on so I can remove those domains from the DMCA notice list.
I’ll be compiling lists of nulled Stallion running domains in bulk to send DMCA notices once a month, please don’t be on it.
For those wanting to test Stallion before purchase you can already download the full release of Stallion from the Aweber mailing list (join it on the right menu), you get access to Stallion minus an active ID. I’m considering adding a test Stallion ID that works, but disables some features so more features can be tested before purchase.

You can keep your Legal license price low to reduce probability of using Nulled/cracked version of stallion.
Currently your license price is $70, my suggestion will be to keep it around $40-$50 as most people buy theme at the starting of their blogging career and at that time they don’t want to spend too much for a theme and hence go for piracy.
Don’t take this seriously, this is just a suggestion.

If only price was the answer, if you look on the forums where nulled versions of scripts are released the price is irrelevant. Those who null the scripts are not nulling the code for personal gain, it’s a challenge (they don’t even use the scripts and themes themselves).
Those who use nulled scripts it’s a way of life, why pay for something when you can get it for free. A nulled premium WordPress theme zip file is uploaded to filesharing sites like Mediafire and tens of thousands download it and most will never even install it, they download it because it’s free when it shouldn’t be free.
It’s not the initial release of a nulled version of the Stallion WordPress SEO theme that’s the problem, the thousands who download it are highly unlikely to ever buy Stallion (didn’t know it existed). It’s long term where people will find their way to the Stallion sales site and want the theme, but will first do a search for a free nulled version so they don’t have to spend any money. If they find a free nulled version that’s a lost sale. Which is why I’ve been sending DMCA notices to the filesharing sites so when potential Stallion customers go through the “Stallion SEO Theme Nulled” type SERPs in Google all the results go to dead files. If I can keep the top 50 results linking to dead files shouldn’t have an impact on sales and in some respects all those sites promoting nulled Stallion might increase interest.
If I sold the Stallion SEO theme for $5 it would still have programmers nulling it and people using the nulled version rather than paying $5.
The $70 price is set because that’s the minimum price that works for me and Clickbank affiliates who promote Stallion. With a Clickbank Stallion theme sale the money is split 50/50, after Clickbank fees I receive just over $30 per sale. Considering users are entitled to free updates and free support (that could be years of free updates and support) that’s cheap. The Clickbank affiliate receives a similar amount and according to my research that’s around the minimum amount of affiliate revenue an affiliate will work for promoting a Clickbank product.
The Stallion WordPress SEO theme was the next version of the Talian WordPress SEO theme which I still sell (currently the second Best WordPress SEO theme available online), but not on Clickbank and that sells for $50 with no affiliate promotion (I get all the sale minus PayPal fees). So I make less from Stallion per sale than I make from Talian, but few would promote Talian because there’s no affiliate program.
If I reduced the license fee I wouldn’t make enough to cover support time and Clickbank affiliates wouldn’t promote Stallion because it’s not worth their time. Now if I offered no support I could sell it for say $50 with $30 going to the affiliate, but that’s not going to happen since there’s nothing more important with a good product than decent support.

What is most likely to happen if the effort to send DMCA takedowns becomes too onerous? I say: development of Stallion will cease and development efforts will move to the next version of the theme. Which is a shame as you’ve done such a great job so far with Stallion.
@Sadek, as David said it’s not the price that makes people download free, it’s the challenge and that it’s forbidden. The good news it that most downloaders will never install it. Those few that do will not configure it properly. And those that do will be easily found. So it’s a dumb move to steal a theme designed to make money.
To anybody coming to this post after searching for Stallion SEO Theme Nulled Free Download, buy it. If the $70 it costs is too much for your site(s), then your site(s) will never make money. Stop wasting your time trying to make money on the internet.

Long back I have purchased stallion theme. I used it on few of my domains and in last one year I am not active in online activity as I have a full time job
As you mentioned “Each purchase entitles the user to use Stallion on as many of their own domains as they like”, does it mean the domains should be registered in my name (Hosting account too)? Could you please explain the licence terms in more detail(because now my sister would like to continue the online activity, so if we register domain in her name we can not use this stallion licence? As I have full time job registering in my name may be problem for me)

The Stallion Theme License is per person, so the sites should be owned by you.
That being said it depends on the circumstances, if the people using Stallion have similar names (family members), live at the same property that’s not a problem.
Different addresses, different names they need separate Stallion Theme licenses.
If you do need a new license now is a good time to buy, after the next update (taking some time off, so probably be around February) I’m increasing the price of Stallion to $100.
